Apple Adds Special Edition To It’s iPhone 7 Series In Collaboration With ‘Product Red’

Apple has added special edition to it’s iPhone 7 series by introducing it’s red variants. Launched yesterday, iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 plus in red colours will be available in India from April onwards, starting at Rs 82,000, online as well as in retail stores. However, it will be accessible in selected 40 countries from March 24 onwards in 256 GB and 128 GB models.

(Product)Red is a charity firm that seeks to engage the private sector in raising awareness and funds to help eliminate HIV/AIDS and Apple has been associated with it for more than 10 years now. “Apple is the world’s largest corporate donor to the Global Fund, contributing more than $130 million as part of its partnership with (RED),” said Deborah Dugan, (RED)’s CEO. Tim Cook, Apple’s CEO said, “Since we began working with (RED) 10 years ago, our customers have made a significant impact in fighting the spread of AIDS through the purchase of our products, from the original iPod nano (PRODUCT)RED Special Edition all the way to today’s lineup of Beats products and accessories for iPhone, iPad and Apple Watch.”

The iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 plus in Red colour will continue to have the same specifications as the models launched in September last year.

Alongside this, another good announcement for Apple lovers came with the increase in storage space for iPhone SE from 16 GB to 32 GB and 64 GB to 128 GB. And finally, it also launched an updated uiPad 9.7- inch with a new lower price.
