About Us

It is pursuing its efforts to provide technical, professional and logistic assistance to its members; to highlight the issues and problems faced by them and following up with the authorities for redressing their grievances and getting a result on board.  To establish close liaison with federal government authorities for effective representation on behalf of the IT business community on any matter connected with the IT business and services; to elect or nominate members to represent PCA on any local and public forum; to hold seminars, workshops and conferences relating to IT trade and industry and services in the country;  to establish IT training and skill enhancement centers for youths and adults for the promotion of IT education and knowledge in the educational and vocational institutions including schools, colleges, institutes, and university etc.

To present suggestions, proposals to the government on the adverse effects of taxes including general sales tax upon the IT business community and illegal tax policy enforcement and unnecessary laws levied by the authorities from time to time and secure relief for the business community for the growth of IT business in the country.

To keep effective liaison with all Chambers and the Federation of Pakistan Chambers of Commerce and Industry in the country for the unhindered growth of IT business in the country to contribute a useful and productive share in the federal revenue.

To enhance mutual self-help amongst the IT business community on the principles of cooperation and coordination through this Association. Pakistan Computer Association which stands as the sole representative body of the IT industry in Pakistan provides them a real forum to voice their concerns and to help redress their grievances by engaging with the government to the benefit of the stakeholders and creating a congenial and business-friendly environment for the IT sector in Pakistan. The PCA greatly values its stakeholders as its main strength in promoting and developing the information technology sector in the country. In addition, the PCA is committed to keeping close contact with its members; organizing meetings/events to discuss their important issues; exchange ideas on policy matters; and apprise them about the outcome of its deliberations with the authorities for the betterment of the IT business community. PCA also strives to raise awareness on issues and develop consensus to make the authorities to resolve the problems of the IT industry.

PCA takes this opportunity to invite you to get involved in these efforts by joining the PCA as its members to enlarge its network and make it more effective and responsive to represent the IT industry on important issues at any forum. This will add strength to the PCA as a vibrant body to serve its stakeholders in the best possible ways possible. However, to take all the stakeholders of IT industry on board, the PCA requires substantial funds to boost its efforts to provide support and assistance to all its members.
